About Us

As a sophomore in high school at the age of 15, “Annie” skipped school
with a friend and drove to a Manchester music store and with money saved
for his class ring, purchased his first set of drums.
Determined to form his own band and teach himself how to play with no
lessons, he convinced a few of his guitar playing classmates to join him.
Rehearsing after school while listening to 45rpm records & performing at
school dances, soon established the group to be known as “Annie and The
Orphans”.
The group advanced to playing street dances, college fraternity parties,
Battle of the Bands competitions, anywhere where people loved to hear the
music of the British Invasion of the 60’s.
Over the years they have appeared at a variety of venues such as Gillette
Stadium, Meadowbrook Musical Arts Center, Trump’s Taj Mahal in Atlantic
City, Stark & Veteran’s Parks in Manchester, the Hampton Beach Seashell
stage, Flyin’ Monkey Theater and on the M/S Mount Washington cruise
ship.
They have also performed at the Sandwich Fair, the Champlain Valley Fair
in Essex Junction, VT, the Ossipee Mountain Fair in Hiram, ME and at
many town gazebo summer concerts throughout the Sate of NH.
Now approaching five decades, the band still continues to amaze fans with
its unique blend of musical talent and showmanship, which includes their
patriotic gesture of handing out US flags while singing God Bless America
with its audience.
Their performance promises to get your toes tapping and up on the dance
floor. So put on your dancing shoes and get ready to “Rock & Roll with
Anatole”!
Coming up in 2014, the band is planning its 50 year celebration!
